I've gotten some requests for a mix with songs in the 180 BPM range. There's been some interesting research and articles around about increasing your speed by training to increase your footfall rate, targeting 180 BPM as the "optimum" stride.

Most people have a slower stride - I tend to run/jog at around 160 steps per minute if left to my own devices. But i like to do some speed work training (i usually do intervals on a track, or use faster stride rates for downhills... and I'm taking really short strides!). This mix features a lot of rock-tempo (old and new), including songs from T.V. On The Radio, The Jam, The Vapors, Metric, David Bowie, The Damned, Tokyo Police Club, Iggy Pop, and The Foo Fighters.
